Please define exactly what bugs you flushed out and how much time you spent
on each. The initial $60 included the import fix. At the 46:36 mark during
our 1st phone call you had fixed both the import problem and IE6 & 7. You
had to move a few commands in the text area of the code.

Later, you added the AUTOSAVE on to the IMPORT SCRIPT. I was willing to give
you some leeway on the billing but if you want to be down right business
about it, I mark every phone call I make with a timer and make very detailed
notes.

I look for guys that specialize in my needs. I pay guys that don't have to
learn on the job. If you knew the answers right away like you did on the
import and IE Fix I don't mind paying $30 an hour. If you have to search to
find out how to fix I'm not paying $30 an hour for you to learn on my dime.

Your $210 bill is extremely high. There are very good software programs out
there that will allow you to accurately bill. I spent 15 years producing
films and TV shows for the networks with over 900 hours of episodic
television under my belt. I know what we're spending from the gaffer tape to
the daily rates for my talent. If my budget is off by 5 CENTS I shut it
down. Your numbers don't add up and I'm willing to pay you what is fair.

Please revise your bill and you can't combine an invoice I've already
submitted for payment with a new invoice. We need to enter in to a more
formal agreement before we proceed. One of the clauses will mandage a
software that capupures your KEYSTROKES and SCREEN SHOTS while you are
working on my projects. We will be able to instruct it with a PASSWORD so
that it only works when you're working on my project and that it doesn't run
continously while you are not working on my project. We can set in the
preferences a timer that if you are idle for more than 5 minutes, the
program logs off. But it keeps exact time even when you have to google code.

You're a talented guy that is tremendously creating log jams for yourself.
In business you have to just put up with the bull shit and let people walk
all over you if you're going to make money. At the end of the day, the
positives will outweigh the negatives and you'll always make money if you
keep the floodgates open. You are truly shutting me down and I walked away
from our first meeting extremely impressed with you. Talent is 2% of the
game. In my mind, I'm looking for a 25 year relationship and I don't see
that here based on our recent communications

HOWEVER anything is possible and you don't really know  how good of a friend
you've got until you see how you deal with each other after huge
disagreements. There's 3 phases to a relationship: [i] It's all Tits and
Champagne at first and everybody likes everyone, then; [ii] the Twist,
something goes wrong and you start doubting each other and sooner or later
the freindship is about to end, then; [iii] there's a spark of hope and
something makes it all make sense and you're off to a great start or you
simply walk away.

I'm an optimist. Please get me an legitimate bill so you can get paid. I'm
not changing any passwords on my site. From this point forward do not go in
to my control panel or in to my site until you and I are on better terms.
You're not working for somebody any more. You are in business for yourself.
It's a whole different way of looking at things if you want to enjoy being
in business.

I seriously hope for your success.

can you send me a copy of that log?  So your saying I did not spend 2.5 hours fixing IE 6 & 7.
I was not on the phone, I had to call your hosting to solve this problem.

Yea, charged you for .5 hours to fix this

When a lawyer does research on case similar to yours who does he bill for that research.
Nobody knows everything, you pay me to solve the problem, if that requires research that's how it works. You have to understand whats causing the problem to find the solution.

I build websites, don't know how the TV business is run. If you don't think the work I have done for you for the last 2 weeks is worth $210 we have a problem.

Good luck finding any to work like this

You have lost your best chance a building a scalable website, you will not find a developer with my IT background for the price.  Any idiot can program PHP, but if you don't do it right your website will come to a halt with any real traffic.  Most developers don't understand the hardware underneath the language.

I have exceed the effort of collecting the invoice and consider this relationship done.  Good luck finding a new developer.
